Green Blossoms

Green Blossoms' shirts for women are made from bamboo, organic cotton and corn. They are purposely free from prints or designs because they are designed to be timeless pieces that women can wear over and over again.

We've made environmentally conscious choices along the way, from the selection of the fabrics to the packaging. Here are the ways we've made our products eco-friendly:

1. Hangtags are made of plantable seeded paper
2. Shirts are locally made, supporting Los Angeles businesses
3. Where we do print, they are printed on recycled paper using soy based ink
4. Low impact dyeing
5. Using principles of lean manufacturing and just-in-time inventory
6. Care labels are printed using water-based silkscreening (instead of the irritating neck tags)
7. Reduce packaging as much as possible to just what is necessary

We also really want to create more than just customers with this clothing company—we want to connect with them on a personal level (to the extent that a company can with its customers). That's what we want to do with our blog. And that's why our articles are not just about "going green" -- it is also about stuff to do to have fun, to take care of yourself, to be healthier, etc. -- everything that today's modern women care about.
